Meeting Summary Assistant

The Meeting Summary Assistant utilizes AI to help users transcribe and summarize audio from meetings, as well as summarize attachments or text for inclusion in Appointment Summary Reports or Notes. It enables live transcription and generates AI-generated summaries of meeting transcripts and attachments, making it easier to compile comprehensive notes.

Learn more about the Meeting Summary Assistant here.

  • Feed it clean inputs. Paste the meeting agenda and notes/transcript (or Zoom chat) into one place, and include attendee names/roles if you want them reflected in the summary.

  • Tell it the format you want. Specify your preferred template (e.g., Student Appointments, Student Action Items, Advisor Follow-Ups, Policy/Deadline Reminders, Open Questions, Parking Lot) and how detailed the summary should be (brief vs. comprehensive).

  • Make action items unambiguous. For each task, ask for an owner, a due date, and a next step—and call out decisions with the exact wording used in the meeting, when possible.

  • Do a quick accuracy + sensitivity pass. Skim for names, dates, and commitments, correct any errors, and remove/redact confidential or personal details before sharing widely.

Message Content Creator

The Message Content Creator is an embedded AI assistant that helps staff improve message content, including tone, length, and clarity. This tool is accessible wherever staff create messages, such as Send a Message, Enrollment Campaigns, Appointment Campaigns, and Content Templates.

  • Scale Your Time: Use the Enhance with AI function when creating Content Templates to expand the reach of messages honed with AI.

  • Provide Example Uses to End Users: Prompt users with ideas for messages they can refine using AI, including more effective appointment-campaign messages, more inclusive follow-ups to alerts, or shorter text messages that elicit a student response.

  • Take Advantage of Version History: Encourage users to use the prompt field to iteratively adjust recommended messages and select the best suggestion from version history.

  • Review Before Sending: Remind users that the content creator should be used as a starting point and staff should always review messages before sending to students.

Report Finder

This AI-powered assistant helps users navigate reports by identifying suitable reports, explaining available data, comparing different reports, and suggesting data filters. When appropriate, Report Finder results link directly to AI Report Filter Assistant to easily generate suggested queries. Report Finder respects privacy permissions, so only authorized reports and filters are displayed.

  • Provide Example Uses: Examples like “Show all campaign appointments from September 2023 with College of Business students” can help users brainstorm prompt ideas to enter into the bot.

  • Filter Assistant as a Starting Point: Filter Assistant is most effective when creating an initial report prompt. Encourage users to adjust the prompt and/or data filters as needed to find their ideal combination.

  • Scale time savings: Encourage users to save AI-recommended data filters as Saved Reports that can be easily re-run.

Report Filter Assistant

The Report Filter Assistant translates plain-language queries into suggested data filters, enabling users to easily set up report filters and extract valuable insights from V3 reports. Users access the Report Filter Assistant only from Bulldog Connect reports for which they already have access.

Student Profile Agent (moved feature to AI Staff Agent)

Student Profile Agent allows users to ask questions about their students and can be used to prepare for appointments, synthesize key student information, or gain updates about a student. The Student Profile Agent summarizes key data points about the student, using data accessible in V3 reports. Users can also add to-dos or schedule appointments with this tool.

  • Prompt with Intent: Be specific with your request of the agent to identify data most useful to you and your role. Use exact feature names, add restrictions like time or care unit.

  • Build into Workflows: Use SPA to redesign prep for student interactions and appointments. Use profile tabs to dig deeper from initial summary.

  • Review Report Access: Confirm you can see reports tab and expected reports.

  • Compile your Favorites: While session history is not retained, keep a bank of your favorite prompts and questions. Develop school and unit-specific best practices and guidance.
