Pre-Appointment Questions for Students
NEW FEATURE
Pre-appointment questions are a new feature that can be used to send a survey to students before an appointment; for example, tutoring centers could use them to have students upload assignments before meeting with a tutor. Another way to use this feature is to enter more information, e.g., telling an advisor which majors they want to change to in pre-appointment questions for a Major Change appointment.
Information. Examples of Pre-Appointment Survey Questions
Student Workflow
When a student makes an appointment with a Location/Service combination with an active template, they receive an email notification on the date configured by the template. The email notification has a link to the survey for the student to fill out, as shown below.
Upon clicking the link, the student is taken to the pre-appointment questions page to complete the questionnaire.
Staff Workflow
There are two main ways for staff to view responses. If the staff user has permission to run V3 reports, the other way to find responses is to open the Pre-Appointment Responses report and create a version of it, as shown in the example below. For instance, if the user knows the names of the students who have sent responses, they can create a filter that way or look for responses to a specific template name, etc.
Users can also download attachments with these report results if the entry includes an attachment.
